Project URSULA Products
Project URSULA is developing agronomy products and services based on data captured from its UAS (Unmanned Aerial System). These will focus on key areas related to:
- Identification mapping
Why use Project URSULA?
Project URSULA will deliver significant savings through targeted intervention, improved yield and reduced inputs. Targeted image capture combined with the analysis of imagery in wavelengths beyond the visible spectrum leads to valuable information that can be related to yield, crop health, stress, and the identification of weeds and pest damage.
What is a UAS?
UAS stands for Unmanned Aerial System. It is a ‘catch all’ for a platform that consists of the aircraft itself (sometimes referred to as a drone, micro-plane or UAV), the onboard sensors/payloads, the means for command and control including the operator’s base station, as well as the ground support equipment required for launch/recovery, monitoring, and maintenance.
